Crickets and Grasshoppers
They’re here. And they are a sure sign of summer winding down. I love to hear the songs both produce. Sometimes I feel like they are saying “slow down, enjoy this moment in your life.”
I woke to very cool temps–61 degrees. But it is sunny and warm now.
It’s so dry. We are hoping for rain tomorrow.
Dentist this afternoon. Session to pull off a crown, take care of the cavity, and reinstall a new crown. Ugh! I’m worried about reacting to the novocaine. Friends are driving me back and forth, and I’ll take benedryl before and after. My dentist is going to use an epinephrine free–and hopefully preservative free–novacaine.
No No Penny and I took a long walk this morning at a special piece of land where she can run free. It was so nice and the exercise and fresh air lightened my mood.

Now I have dinner prepped as well, which is a good thing as benedryl makes me so groggy.
