Here’s a quote about fear-based marketing of Gardasil:

In the marketing and licensure of the HPV vaccine, changes to cervical cells have been equated with death. This is called using a “surrogate marker” and in vaccine research, this is considered acceptable because we can’t otherwise prove a non-event is attributable to an intervention. There are leaps in logic and in science inherent in this practice, that render conclusions nothing more than false marketing.

In fact, none of the HPV vaccines have ever been proven to prevent a single case of cervical cancer.

And:

The cervical cancer diagnosis rate in the United States is 7.9/100,000. Given that only 5% of HPV infections progress to neoplasia (CIN) and that 91% of early stage cases resolve spontaneously within 36 months, with 70% of CIN 1 and 54% of CIN 2 cases doing the same within 12 months, using these pathologies as surrogate markers for cancer incidence represents a scientific shortcoming.

Built on this house of cards, and defying pre-existing FDA criteria for fast-tracked approval, Gardasil was brought to market in 6 months and is now one of our great human experiments. Several countries including Japan, France, and India have banned and/or filed criminal lawsuits about Gardasil, but, as Americans, not only are the “one less” commercials still running, but the latest and greatest version of Gardasil is now available.

TV2 Denmark Documentary on HPV Vaccine Shows Lives of Young Women Ruined

Our media is refusing to cover the vaccine issue appropriately.

Kudos to Denmark’s TV2 for this documentary–which is one of the best I’ve seen done by any mainstream media

Are there problems with it?  Yes.  See below.  But they do a really good job, too, of showing that there is a problem that is being ignored.

What’s wrong?  No one asked (or answered appropriately) if Gardasil cures or prevents cervical cancer–which is a rare cancer that is completely detectable with a Pap smear which does not have any side effects.  The ads for Gardasil are misleading.  Cervical cancer takes 20 to 30 years to develop–and there is evidence now that Gardasil might be CAUSING cervical cancer problems.

 

Here’s a quote from Health Impact News about this documentary;

Are those in charge of the Danish Health and Medicines Authority willing to risk the 2500 serious adverse reactions per 100,000 Gardasil recipients disclosed in Merck’s latest prescribing information packet to try and avoid 12.1 cases of cervical cancer per 100,000?

Are the women of Denmark willing to accept the same risk? Do the women of Denmark think it is reasonable to trade 2500 potentially devastating medical conditions to save 12 people per 100,000 users from the diagnosis of a very treatable cancer?

A Mother Speaks

Scratch an anti-vaccine activist, and you’re going to find either a parent with a damaged child or someone who has witnessed vaccine damage first hand.

California is one “hotspot” for the move to mandate vaccines for EVERYONE and, as a result, for unscientific hysteria and political incompetence.

Before this mandating vaccines gets to your state, or if it has already as is true in Maine, you may want to hear what this mother has to say.  Spend 14 minutes with someone whose child has been damaged–just as YOUR child could be damaged. Damage is much more frequent than you are being told, and much damage is permanent.  Vaccine damage is far riskier than whatever childhood disease is being supposedly subverted.

Not long ago, I heard myself referred to as “you people,” as if I were an out-of-control quack.  Yet I have a PhD and know how to research, how to vet sources, how to critically think.  The “you people” person had done no research and had no understanding or comprehension of how corrupt our government and our medical system has become.

Scratch an anti-vaccine person, and you’ll find also someone who has done good research and who often has higher educational degrees.  So, yes, I’m one of the “you people.”

So, please don’t stick your heads in the sand on this issue.

California’s mandate likely will not stand as it violates California’s own constitution.  And, likely, the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution.  I just read that the ACLU is now part of the legal protests beginning in California.

ZERO Measles Deaths in Ten Years/100 Confirmed Measles Vaccine Deaths

What interests me most in this article is the chart I have (successfully) copied–because it shows what historical research shows about diseases and the introduction of vaccines.

No vaccine is introduced until the disease that is its target is already nearly gone.

Why does a disease disappear?  We don’t really know.  Maybe a true herd immunity?  Maybe better sanitation and nutrition?

Anyway, here’s a quote and the chart:

 

And while health authorities are blaming measles outbreaks in recent years on unvaccinated children, when you mention the fact that nobody is dying from measles in the U.S., they are quick to turn around and claim vaccines have eliminated measles deaths (even though they cannot eliminate the disease itself apparently.)

Besides the obvious contradiction in reasoning with such a claim, the historical evidence just does not support it either:

RFK Jr Slams CDC in Vermont Vaccine Testimony

Vermont is one of the states trying to pass vaccine mandates.

From all accounts, the process in Vermont stinks with corruption.  Citizens have not been able to speak to the issue, etc.

RFK Jr. flew in to make a statement.

RFK Jr. is NOT anti-vaccine.  He vaccinated all of his children.

He is against government corruption and for a safe vaccine program.

Here are some excerpts from his statement:

“I think we need to begin that process by making sure that the vaccines are safe, they are efficacious and have a regulatory agency which recommends vaccines to the schedule, monitors them, has integrity and creditably. And unfortunately that is not the case at the moment.”

“The CDC is a troubled agency. There have been four separate scathing Federal studies about the CDC. I’m not talking about the whole agency; I’m talking about the vaccine division. One by the United States Senate; a three year study, one by the House, another by HHS by the Inspector General and a study this year by The Office of Research and Integrity. And all of together and separately paint a picture of an agency that has become a cesspool of corruption.”

“All of the barriers that are suppose to protect American Kids from that industry (pharmaceutical) have been leveled.”

I have no idea who Jefferey Jaxen is, but it does not matter.  What does matter is that you can scroll down this blog post and hear RFKs statement–which concerns the corruption at the CDC and the way media has been defanged by industry so that it is not reporting the vaccine issue in any way but pro-industry.  The video is about 15 minutes.

Herd Immunity:  Myth or Reality?

In Maine today, the vaccine hearings are taking place.

What is at stake is the sovereign individuals right to refuse vaccines.  What is at stake is giving the state the right to deny education.

The operating theoretical idea is “herd immunity”–so that the unvaccinated are seen to be disease carriers.

Predictable, a terrible article appeared in The Portland Press Herald over the weekend–an article filled with myth and which helps to create public hysteria.

Here’s immunologist Tetyana Obukhanych’s SCIENTIFIC explanation of why “herd immunity” is not a valid or effective philosophical concept.

If you believe “herd immunity” to be valid, I would urge you to read this piece–before you demonize any unvaccinated child again.  Vaccinated children shed disease from vaccines and are just as much carriers as the unvaccinated.  At-risk children need to be asking “are there any recently vaccinated in the room,” rather than the opposite.  And that child needs to stay out of crowds.

Here are, also, two small quotes from the piece:

Herd immunity is not an immunologic idea, but rather an epidemiologic construct, which theoretically predicts successful disease control when a certain pre-calculated percentage of people in the population are immune from disease.

And:

The belief in herd immunity has no doubt been influencing vaccine-related legislation in many U.S. states and other countries.  This notion is used as a trump card to justify and mandate legal measures aiming to increase vaccination compliance.  An implicit assumption is that liberal vaccine exemptions somehow compromise this precious herd immunity, which the public-health authorities strive to establish and maintain via vaccination.

Turkey Tracks: Purple, Purple, Purple

Purple, Purple, Purple

These fabrics have been bundled up to make a quilt for some years now.  (I have been inspired by making the “At The Lake” quilt which has been hanging around for a few years too–like 12 years.)

I recently went back through these bundles and broke some of them up and put those fabrics back into the working stash.

Life moves on, tastes move on, quilting moves on, I am moving on with the flow.

Purple is not my first choice for a quilt usually.  I seem to be more drawn to blues, greens, and warm colors–reds and the like.

Look at all these purples and magentas!

An Open Letter to Legislators Considering Vaccine Legislation from Tetyana Obukhanych, PhD

Tetyana Obukhanych is an immunologist with work credentials from Stanford and Harvard.

She offers one of the clearest explanations regarding vaccines I have found to date.

In this piece, which is widely available all over the internet now, she explains why mandating vaccines for ALL children is unnecessary.  AND why discriminating against unvaccinated children is nothing but public hysteria–which has been fueled by media’s total failure in covering this issue fairly and (I would add) the vaccine industry.  (I’ve heard that 70% of media funding now comes from Big Pharma–and I’d like to research that fact.)

Here’s Obukhanych’s opening statement:

My name is Tetyana Obukhanych.  I hold a PhD in Immunology.  I am writing this letter in the hope that it will correct several common misperceptions about vaccines in order to help you formulate a fair and balanced understanding that is supported by accepted vaccine theory and new scientific findings.
